Membership

 

What’s the cost?

Full Member (Engineer) $350.00 or Associate Member (Vendors) $550.00 per person.  Companies cannot share membership between multiple employees.  Memberships may be rolled over to a different employee only if the paid member has left the said company.

Registered User=Someone who has made a previous purchase through the ACOE website.

2024 Important Tax Information

ACOE dues may be tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Donations to the ACOE are fully recognized as tax deductible charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. ACOE membership dues are not tax deductible as charitable contributions. Email Hector Rios at email@acoehouston.net if you have any questions.

  • Next click on the “My Account” link. Located at the top right side of the webpage under the store Please log in.

 

If it’s time for you to renew, an invoice will be mailed to your address on file.  If you’re not sure if it’s time for you to renew, call member services at (281) 960-3258.

 

 

How do I join ACOE?

There are three ways to join ACOE.

  3. By Phone: Call ACOE Member Services at (281) 960-3258 and Hector Rios will be happy to assist with enrollment.

How long will it take to process my application?

Applicants should allow 7 business days for processing.

Do I qualify for membership in ACOE?

ACOE Bylaws state that all applicants must meet the qualifications set forth in one of the membership categories below to qualify for membership in ACOE.

Full Member (Engineer) $350.00
(Full Member) A person whose principal activity and employment is presently in plant and facility engineering for the purposes of operation and maintenance.

Associate Member (Vendors) $550.00
(Associate Member) The term, Associate Member, shall refer to those individuals whose principal activity or employment is directly related to plant or facility engineering work in a specialized branch of the profession or concerned with the dissemination of knowledge by teaching or through publication of related technical material, or one who either by engineering, technical or scientific attainment or by practical experience is qualified to cooperate with or provide a service or product to plant and facility operators. These professionals are known as but not limited to teaching professionals, MEP design engineers and or hold a Masters License in a recognized support trade critical to plant operation and maintenance.

 

What if my license is not in the U.S.?

If an applicant has achieved the equivalent of U.S. licensure in another country, ACOE will approve the applicant for membership.

 

Did ACOE receive my payment?

Members may check the status of their membership by logging in online. Please visit www.acoehouston.net to log in. Members may also call ACOE Member Services at (281) 960-3258 or e-mail us at email@acoehouston.net to check payment status.

Can I renew my membership?

Yes.  There are 3 ways to renew your membership.

When making a payment, please include your member number on the invoice, if possible.

What is my member ID number?

Members may find their member ID number online by logging in to the ACOE website. Once you are logged in, click on “My Account” on the right navigation, under the store tab. Your member ID is displayed on your profile page. For additional help, contact Member Services at (281) 960-3258.

When does my membership expire?

You’ll see when it’s time to renew your membership on your profile page. Once you are logged in to the ACOE website, click on “My Account” on the right navigation, under the store tab. For additional help, contact Member Services at (281) 960-3258.

 

How do I update my profile/contact information?

You may update your contact information online at www.acoehouston.net. Once you are logged in to the ACOE website, click on “My Account” on the right navigation, under the store tab. For additional help, contact Member Services at (281) 960-3258

 

MEETINGS

RSVPS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 3:00PM ON THE DAY BEFORE A SCHEDULED MEETING.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  If your RSVP is not received in time, you may attend the meeting but will not receive a meal.

          PLEASE NOTE:  If you RSVP and do not attend you could receive a no-show invoice.  If you must cancel your attendance, please call Hector Rios by 3:00PM ON THE DAY BEFORE THE SCHEDULED MEETING so your meal can be cancelled.  

          Cancellations received after 3:00PM ON THE DAY BEFORE A SCHEDULED MEETING could still be invoiced as a no-show.
